Can I book without a referral?
A written referral is not strictly necessary but is appreciated and assists continuity of care. Private Health Insurance and Medicare rebates are available for physiotherapy services (a GP Enhanced Primary Care plan is required for a Medicare rebate).
Any investigations or a copy of correspondence regarding your health concern would be appreciated prior to their initial assessment to ensure continuity of care.
